On Saturday, October 5th, a thrilling football match took place at Philip Stadium in Soshanguve Block L, where Far East Milano Academy claimed a 5-3 victory over 3 Touch Football Academy.

The highly anticipated match showcased exceptional skill and determination from both teams, but it was Far East Milano Academy's strategy and teamwork that made the difference. In the first half, Far East Milano Academy took control, scoring three goals, while 3 Touch Football Academy managed to respond with two.

 

In the second half, the players from 3 Touch Football Academy fought back, adding another goal. However, Far East Milano Academy sealed their victory with two additional goals.

 

“Good performance from the boys. The game was not easy; it awakened us. It was too rough, which made my boys very focused and disciplined, just as I told them before the game,” said Bandile Mthembu, the coach of Far East Milano Academy.

3 Touch Football Academy’s coach, Nkosinathi Nkosi, acknowledged the opposition’s strength, stating, “Far East Milano Academy played a very great game. We will regroup and come back as a stronger team.”

 

Far East Milano Academy’s midfielder, Sipho Mtsweni, praised his team’s unity during the match: “Our communication on the field is very strong, and it was the key to our victory. We played as one.”

 

“I am thrilled with the team’s performance; they showed incredible teamwork and determination. I am really proud to be part of the Far East Milano Academy family,” said Thando Mabasa, a devoted fan who attended the match.

 

The match showcased impressive performances from both teams, with Far East Milano Academy players demonstrating exceptional coordination and tactics. This victory marks a significant win for Far East Milano Academy, solidifying their position in the league.
